Keeping tenants informed about potential water issues is key to preventing costly damage. With text leak alerts, tenants receive immediate notifications when unusual or excessive water usage is detected. Follow the steps below to add tenants and configure their alerts so they are always kept in the loop.
Log in to your web app, select the property, and go to the Tenants tab.
- To add a new tenant, click Add Tenant and complete the setup steps.
- To update an existing tenant, click the three vertical dots next to their name and select Edit Tenant. Add or update the phone number as needed.
Once the tenant is added or their phone number is updated, go to Tenant Alerts. Choose which leak notifications the tenant should receive:
- Leak Alert: Sent when a low flow, continuous leak or abnormal usage is detected.
- High-Flow Leak Alert: Sent when a high flow leak with high costs or damage is detected.
