Step 1: Add Tenants
- Go to the Tenants tab
- Enter Name + Email only
- Usage will auto-link to the correct tenant
Step 2: Add a Utility Water Bill
- Go to Billing → Click "Add Bill"
- Enter:
- Total water bill amount
- Billing period
- Any fixed or per-unit fees

Select Split Logic Option:
- Usage-based
- Evenly split
- Flat fee per unit
Step 3: Review Invoices
- Click into the Billing Summary (not “Tenant Report”)
- Each invoice includes:
- Usage
- Line items (e.g., convenience fee, base fee)
- Total due
- Due date
- Payment link
📌 Note: Invoices won't generate if water usage is zero unless fixed fees are entered.
Step 4: Send Invoices
- Click “Send” to deliver invoices to tenants via email
- Subject line currently set to default — update through Stripe branding settings
Step 5: Collect Payments
- Tenants have 21 days to pay
- Payment methods: Card, ACH (depending on Stripe config)
- View status in dashboard (paid, pending, late)
📌 Note: Use Stripe’s customer portal for saved cards or scheduling payments.
